Desert Bling. I love desert landscapes. Some of my favorite plants are succulents. There is a glittery beauty to the desert that has always appealed to me. One plus to the desert in the summer is that you know it’s going to be broiling hot, and can adjust your fashion accordingly. In the west, it has been going from hot to cold. From tank tops to heavy shirts. You have to keep a coat and lighter clothes in the car until July. When it rains in the desert, it’s not like bags of crystals dripping from the skies. During monsoon season, it’s more like a deluge. However, rhinestones work well in all temperatures. Elaborate, custom, simple, anything goes. It’s the all temperature embellishment that brings me lots of fulfillment.
